Research Interests

My research focuses on disease-suppressive microbiomes in the tomato phyllosphere in the context of bacterial speck of tomato caused by Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato (Pto). Currently, I am investigating the role of Pseudomonas and Xanthomonas in suppressive communities by isolating and testing these strains for their ability to suppress bacterial speck of tomato.
