My research focuses on understanding the interaction between antimicrobial and targeted microorganisms, searching for an efficient way to understand this interaction by capturing the bacteriocin-targeted microorganisms using fluorescently-labeled but inactive bacteriocins. Also, my research centers around understanding the bacterial genes and their expression that determine persistence.
